Northwest Kia Tuners Forum

You might be asking yourself, "What exactly is a forum?"

To put it simply, a forum is nothing more than an online discussion group. Online services and bulletin board services (BBS's) provide a variety of forums, in which participants with common interests can exchange open messages. Forums are sometimes called newsgroups (in the Internet world) or conferences.

Forum Rules:

You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum, as mentioned earlier, reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

History of StreetKiaz

It all started a few years back in the good old Yahoo Clubs days. Kiaracing@yahoo/clubs.com

Mark Ingalls, out of Massachusetts, acquired a 2000 Kia Sephia LS, and wanted to find out what they made for Kia, so he went on a quest via the internet.

Mark quickly realized that these cars did not have an aftermarket what so ever. His next thought was to find another Kia owner that might know of any such suppliers.

He then met up with a guy by the name of Jason Mathis, out of Florida, who had started a Kia car club on Yahoo (Kiaracing@yahoo/clubs.com). The timing of the two meeting was perfect because Jason had just started the club because he too was looking for parts & accessories for his Kia.

With the two of them together, the group, and the import street scene, were coming up strong. They tried to stay on top of things by developing, and installing their own car accessories, and then passing along the information to others in the group.

The Yahoo group was going good, but Mark felt there was a greater mass of individuals out there looking for the same thing, and Yahoo was running out of space after 6 months.

Streetkiaz.com is born October, 18th 2001 by Mark Ingalls.

Streetkiaz, over the years, has acquired a staff which include Site Moderators, State Chapter Leaders, Product Sales, Publication, Graphic Design, and Research & Development.

Our mission is to launch Kia into the mainstream aftermarket.
